.net is a generic top-level domain managed by the Verisign registry (the same one as for .com). It was originally created for connectivity providers and network infrastructure (network), but today it is universal and unrestricted.

Anyone in the world can register a .net domain, with no requirement for a registered office or line of business. Thanks to its history it seems trustworthy and is the most common established alternative when the desired name is already taken in .com.

You manage DNS and renewal with us in the Client Zone, just like with your other domains.
