.eu is the common top-level domain of the European Union, managed by the EURid registry. It signals European reach and suits companies and projects targeting several EU countries at once without tying themselves to the national extension of a single state.

Registration of .eu is restricted to residents of the EU and EEA: the domain can be obtained by an EU citizen (regardless of place of residence) or an individual or legal entity with a registered office or residence in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway. A Czech entrepreneur and an individual both meet this condition. After Brexit, on the other hand, entities from the United Kingdom are not entitled to .eu.

Unlike .cz, .eu supports IDN, so you can also register names with diacritics. You handle DNS and renewal with us from the Client Zone.
