.cz is the country-code top-level domain of the Czech Republic. For a Czech website, e-shop or business e-mail it is the clear choice – visitors and search engines take it as a signal that a Czech company or project stands behind the website. The registry is run by the CZ.NIC association.

Anyone can register a .cz domain – an individual or a legal entity, regardless of nationality or registered office. No permanent residence in the Czech Republic or IČO is needed. It is registered for 1 year (also possible for several years) and must be renewed on time, otherwise you will lose it after the grace period.

Anyone – an individual or a legal entity from the Czech Republic or abroad. Permanent residence, a registered office in the Czech Republic or a Company ID (IČO) is not required.
No. The CZ.NIC registry does not support IDN (diacritics) for .cz; the domain consists only of letters without accents, digits and hyphens.
In the Client Zone you enter the transfer and request an authorization code from your current registrar. Transfer to us is free for .cz and usually extends the validity by a year.
After expiration a grace period begins, during which you can still renew it. After it ends, the domain is released and anyone can register it.
