We use LiteSpeed as the web server, with a built-in server cache (LSCache) that serves both static and dynamic pages significantly faster than a classic configuration. PHP is available in versions 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5, and you can switch the version yourself in the Client Zone – the change is instant and without downtime. OPcache is enabled, and commonly needed extensions are available, including Imagick and Redis.
Each domain gets its own separate environment with its own files, databases and mailboxes, and with its own limits on memory, processor and disk operations. When one website uses up its performance, the others do not notice. You will find the specific values for each plan in the technical parameters table higher up on this page.
Databases run on MariaDB, and you can manage them through phpMyAdmin or by direct connection. E-mail mailboxes are on your domain, with access via webmail, IMAP and SMTP, with DKIM signing and antispam checking (rspamd) on a separate mail server. Redis is ready on the servers for the website's object cache – for projects where it makes sense, we set it up.
Backups run automatically every day; on the BASIC plan and higher, a copy also goes to a separate offsite storage. We issue and renew a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate automatically for every domain, at no extra charge. If you're switching from elsewhere, we'll move your website, database, and emails for you free of charge – we handle most migrations within 24 hours and without downtime.
